Introducing Our New Team: Leadership Appointments in Quality, Safety & Performance Improvement
We are excited to share two leadership appointments that strengthen our commitment to quality care, safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across Grand Traverse Pavilions.
Please join us in congratulating Ty Antkoviak and Chrissy Wagatha on their new roles within our Quality, Safety, and Performance Improvement team. Together, they will help lead important efforts that support residents, patients, families, and team members throughout our organization.

Ty Antkoviak – Director of Quality, Safety, Compliance, and Risk
Ty has been appointed Director of Quality, Safety, Compliance, and Risk. In this role, he will provide leadership for our quality improvement, compliance, risk management, and safety efforts across the organization.
Ty brings extensive experience and a collaborative leadership style that helps bring people together around a common goal. He is passionate about creating systems and processes that support quality care, regulatory excellence, and a safe environment for residents, patients, visitors, and staff.
We look forward to the leadership and vision Ty will bring as he helps guide these important initiatives.
Chrissy Wagatha – Manager of Quality, Safety & Performance Improvement
Chrissy has been appointed Manager of Quality, Safety & Performance Improvement. In her new role, she will oversee many of the day-to-day efforts that support quality improvement, safety initiatives, compliance monitoring, and organizational performance.
Known for her attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to excellence, Chrissy has a talent for turning information into action and helping teams identify opportunities for improvement. Her dedication to supporting both residents and staff makes her a valued leader and partner across the organization.
We are excited to see Chrissy continue to grow in this role and help advance our culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Together, Ty and Chrissy will provide leadership for quality improvement, safety, compliance, regulatory readiness, risk management, and performance improvement efforts across Grand Traverse Pavilions. Together, these leaders will help ensure concerns are identified sooner, improvements are implemented faster, and residents continue to receive the highest quality care in a safe and compassionate environment.
